Join a dynamic team working on innovative payment technology solutions for a leading European financial institution. As a Lead Software Engineer (Back-End) youll develop and lead scalable resilient backend systems driving technical excellence and mentoring your team in a hybrid work environment.
You will contribute to a strategic project aimed at enhancing the performance and reliability of critical payment platforms used across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to work with a respected financial institution committed to innovation and excellence.
Develop secure modular and testable backend code using Java technologies.
Architect and deliver complex projects from design through deployment.
Own software lifecycle including runtime dependencies and infrastructure.
Introduce technologies that enhance performance scalability and reliability.
Mentor and guide development teams on best practices.
Collaborate with global teams using Agile methodologies.
Strong experience with Java J2EE Spring Boot JUnit Oracle
Expertise in Microservices architecture focusing on latency scalability and resiliency
Solid foundation in algorithms data structures and software design principles (SOLID DRY SRP)
Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience refactoring monolithic systems with strangulation patterns and anti-corruption layers
Excellent English communication skills (fluent)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
