Travel: Local travel within Mumbai Navi Mumbai & Pune (daily field visits)

collection of Used Cooking Oil (UCO) across India. As a purpose-driven company advancing
the circular economy we partner with Food Business Operators (FBOs) to turn waste into
clean sustainable fuel. Were expanding our local network and looking for driven
professionals to join this movement.
Position Overview
We are looking for a field-focused Purchaser / Sales Representative to engage with Food
Business Operators (FBOs) negotiate favourable pricing and terms for UCO collection and
maintain strong vendor relationships. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth timely
collection of UCO and expanding our sourcing base across Mumbai and Pune.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Engagement: Visit hotels restaurants and food manufacturers (FBOs) regularly
to onboard manage and retain UCO vendors.
Negotiation: Negotiate the best possible purchase price and terms for UCO collection
aligned with company guidelines.
Relationship Management: Build strong long-term relationships with FBOs to ensure
consistent and reliable UCO supply.
Problem Solving: Resolve vendor issues coordinate with logistics teams and ensure
timely pickups of UCO.
Lead Generation: Identify and onboard new FBOs in the assigned region to grow our
sourcing network.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all vendor documentation is complete and up to
date; promote safe and legal disposal practices.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records of FBO visits negotiations collections and
challenges; report to the Regional Manager.
Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity price fluctuations and local market
dynamics to help shape procurement strategy.
Key Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree in Business Commerce Supply Chain or related field preferred.
Diploma or relevant experience in vendor management or sales also acceptable.
Experience
2 5 years in B2B sales field procurement or vendor management-preferably in foodservice
FMCG logistics or sustainability sectors. Prior experience working with restaurants hotels
or food vendors is a strong plus.
Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with field work and vendor visits (6 days/week if required).
Ability to manage relationships across a diverse base of FBOs.
Problem-solving attitude with good coordination skills.
Fluency in Hindi Marathi and English.
Basic reporting communication and record-keeping skills.
Passion for sustainability and clean energy mission with a strong customer service
approach.
