Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager

**MUST have worked as Project Manager any North Dakota state agencies

Work Mode: Remote from USA

Duration: Q3 2025 June 30 2027 (subject to funding and extension)

Work Schedule: Up to 40 hours/week

Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to support the Information Technology Department (ITD) Project Management Office (PMO) through staff augmentation. The selected candidate will manage multiple IT projects across various state agencies ensuring alignment with strategic goals timelines and budgets.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven success managing IT projects for North Dakota state agencies
  • Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Strong leadership communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage hybrid project structures (Agile Waterfall or blended)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects on time and within scope
  • Develop and maintain project plans schedules and governance documentation
  • Facilitate meetings status updates and stakeholder communications
  • Monitor project risks issues and dependencies
  • Ensure compliance with state IT standards and reporting protocols
