Overview
The Salvation Armys Kroc Center is hiring a Housekeeper and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

Location: 650 Dudley St. Dorchester MA
Pay Range: $18.00/hr.

Education Requirements
Minimum of High School Graduate or Equivalent
Work Experience
Experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred but not necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Provide routine cleaning duties such as sweeping mopping vacuuming and dusting of all interior and exterior building surfaces and furnishings.
- Regular cleaning and sanitation of areas including restrooms shower rooms locker rooms fitness areas library offices nursey classrooms chapel kitchen lounges dining rooms etc.
- Regular removal of trash and recyclables.
- Regular cleaning and sweeping of exterior areas including sidewalks and paved areas
- Maintain appropriate inventories of cleaning products supplies and products such as paper towels toilet tissue and soaps throughout the facility.
- Maintain the appearance of the facilities and grounds including doors windows flooring walls and furnishings.
- Maintain records of room cleaning.
- Work in a cooperative manner with the other on-site managers of the RJKCCC.
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
- Sit walk stand bend squat climb kneel and twist on an intermittent or occasional continuous basis.
- Grasp push pull objects such as reference materials files file cabinet drawers and reach overhead.
- Ability to load and to change settings devices fixtures on various equipment used in and around an office environment
- Operate telephone and other electronic communication devices.
- Operate various other office equipment including personal computers copiers fax machines and scanning equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to be creative original intuitive and perceptive.
- Ability to think logically and critically.
- Ability to envision a project from beginning to end.
- Ability to solve complex problems make appropriate judgments and decisions
