Job Description
Abramson Labor Group is seeking an experienced Managing Attorney to lead and supervise our Workers Compensation practice. Youll work directly with the Managing Partner oversee a talented group of attorneys and support staff and ensure our cases are handled with exceptional care and strategy.
Why This Role Is Different
Unlike most managing attorney positions there are NO billable hour requirements NO rigid performance metrics and NO status update letter quotas. Your focus will be on leading mentoring and winning cases.
What Youll Do
Lead the Workers Compensation department ensuring strong case strategies and client service.
Provide guidance on complex legal matters case evaluations and settlement negotiations.
Mentor and develop attorneys to maintain consistent high-quality representation.
Step in for trials hearings and negotiations as needed.
Conduct client educational webinars and address escalated client matters.
Foster a positive collaborative and team-oriented culture.
Qualifications :
JD and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
812 years of Workers Compensation experience (Applicant & Defense mix preferred).
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Excellent written verbal and negotiation skills.
