Job Description
Join our vibrant team as a Barista in Calgary Canada! Were seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to craft exceptional coffee experiences and contribute to our welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including specialty coffee drinks teas and other menu items
- Provide friendly efficient and personalized customer service to ensure a positive experience for every guest
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment ensuring proper calibration and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours
- Stay updated on new products promotions and coffee trends
- Contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in the food service industry particularly as a barista is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and willingness to learn new methods
- Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work legally in Canada
- High school diploma or equivalent
