Position Overview
We are seeking a conscientious and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team to deliver products to retail and wholesale customers throughout Rhode Island and surrounding areas. Deliveries are typically scheduled for one day a week using the farms van or box truck. The ideal candidate will also be available to transport goods to and from vendors throughout New England as needed typically two to five trips per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate the farms vehicles to transport customer orders and pick up supplies from vendors
- Load and unload products from vehicles ensuring proper handling and storage of products while enroute
- Maintain accurate delivery records of goods delivered/received
- Communicate with customers with status updates on delivery of orders
- Establish and maintain excellent customer service with all contacts as a representative of Pats Pastured
- Ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to utilize GPS and map routing software
- Familiarity with operating various types of vehicles including vans and box trucks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude and a collaborative solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills; able to coordinate effectively across multiple departments

Compensation
- $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
- One day per week (currently Thursday); potential for additional days/hours as needed
