The marketing analyst is responsible for supporting marketing objectives strategies and programs to achieve Visas business and brand objectives in Guatemala Honduras and El Salvador. This role is a recognized expert in supporting multiple marketing strategies plans and communications that drive increased multiple stakeholder brand preference. This individual will support all aspects of creative development and agency operations as well as the country marketing plan with Client stakeholders. This is a unique role: youll need to be comfortable with all aspects of creative development insights and data analyses combined with excellent communication skills and executive presence and a strong desire to drive improvement in how we deliver marketing communications in the geography. Essential Functions:
- Support marketing communications for programs with Clients in Guatemala Honduras and El Salvador.
- Support the product or service positioning and messaging strategy in multiple-market marketing plans and ensure consistent application across all components of the marketing mix and across markets.
- Identify continuous actionable consumer insights and opportunities via consumer understanding programs and tools trends and data analyses
- Support the country marketing plan and strategies for Guatemala Honduras and El Salvador
- Identify marketing opportunities with multiple audiences and Clients to develop co-marketing strategies and programs to drive increased Visa business
- Participate in sales pitch presentations and develop marketing plans to support new business deals.
- Build and enhance partnerships across the organization including Sales Product Merchant Solutions Finance and Legal to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and plans.
- Reimagine the use of Visas key sponsorship assets Concerts Events Disney FIFA NFL the Olympic Games and the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team.
- Support the Social Media strategy bringing your knowledge and creativity to look for innovative ways to capitalize our social digital and mobile channels
- Support media and creative Agency partners operations and management including Agency Reviews negotiations and renewals Statements of Work and Agency Budget Management
- Work with limited direction usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment to drive rigorous fact-based recommendations to senior management other executive functional or regional management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization
- Be innovative and curious always looking for ways to do things better while driving success and sharing it as well as learning from/sharing failures.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
- Proven experience on marketing communications including production advanced media strategies and placements and experiential/content marketing
- Proven experience on developing marketing strategies and communications based on business objectives and executing marketing programs delivering measurable business and brand results
- Experience in managing and motivating external advertising promotional and media agency partners.
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills and are able to present with impact in both English and Spanish.
- Proven experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance including ROI and accurately forecasting sources of cost revenue and risk with an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision-making.
- Teamwork and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced planning and organizational skills with an impeccable attention to detail yet you can see and convey the big picture.
- Stellar analytical and problem-solving skills and can break large problems down into smaller solvable problems and gather the data/input you need to solve them
