You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position will be responsible for overseeing/managing the Tracing Coding and Transcription operations for the University of Wisconsin Survey Center (UWSC).
In this position responsibilities include:
Supervising one full time University staff and dependent on project needs a small staff of tracing coding and transcription TE and Student employees.
Responsible for coordinating with Project Directors Programmers Field staff and the Field Director on appropriate tracing and coding protocols and to develop project goals to meet study deadlines.
In addition to managing staff this position also performs tracking and locating transcription and coding as needed.
Train staff on tracing transcription and coding as needed.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks in coordination with the UWSC Business Office.
Use a variety of tools including fee-for-service sites like Lexis Nexis to receive and record updated address telephone and other contact information and enter this data into Tracing database.
Research cutting-edge methods related to tracing and implement best practices. Serve as an expert resource and discrepancy coder for Occupation and Industry (O&I) coding and other types of coding for UWSC projects.
Listen to qualitative interviews and focus groups and transcribe using specialized software.

The typical starting salary for this position is $47000 depending on qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position $44543- $82851. Preferred Bachelors Degree
