Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Interior Integration Design Engineer to join our team in North Charleston SC. The successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating the certification and delivery readiness of the Boeing 787 aircraft. This position requires a proactive individual who can work cross-functionally to address and resolve complex issues while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the certification and delivery readiness of the 787 aircraft.
- Utilize strong project management skills to oversee and coordinate design and manufacturing processes.
- Apply engineering judgment to identify analyze and resolve design and integration challenges.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels ensuring clarity and alignment on project objectives and timelines.
- Demonstrate strong soft skills to foster teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
- Influence issue resolution with a sense of urgency ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of design and manufacturing processes to support decision-making and problem-solving efforts.
- Document and report on project progress challenges and resolutions to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the Boeing 787 or similar aircraft programs.
- Proven experience in design and manufacturing within the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with certification processes and regulatory requirements in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
