Starting base salary: $80-110K
Responsibilities
Interpret Architectural Drawings: Analyze and translate architectural plans and specifications into precise shop drawings for custom cabinetry and millwork.
-Create 2D Shop Drawings: Use Microvellum software to generate detailed shop drawings including dimensions cuts and production specifications.
-Produce CNC Code: Develop and optimize CNC code for automated manufacturing processes ensuring compatibility with production equipment.
-Documentation and Labeling: Prepare clear and accurate documentation including part labels and assembly instructions for shop personnel.
-Quality Assurance: Review millwork drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy compliance with standards and manufacturability.
-Nesting and Optimization: Arrange components to maximize material efficiency and minimize waste during production.
Requirements
-Microvellum Proficiency: 5 years of experience minimum needed for consideration. Advanced knowledge of Microvellum software including parametric design solid modeling and product library management are the keys!
-Architectural Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and specifications accurately.
-Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of woodworking joinery and millwork manufacturing processes.
-CNC Programming Experience: Strong understanding of CNC machine operations for millwork (WoodWOP & CutRite).
-CAD Software Knowledge: 8 years of experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD.
-Software Proficiency: Experience with Bluebeam and Google Workspace.
