Job Title: Documentation & Training Refresh (As Needed) (M&O Phase)

Job Location: VA

Duration: 12 Months Contract with possibility to extension

Job Description:

Scope of the Work:

DEQ is seeking a technology service provider to develop a Proof-of-Concept (POC) to support and streamline the Virginia Water Protection Program (VWPP) permit review process. This pilot project will develop an artificial intelligence (AI) agentic solution on a Government Cloud Platform environment provided by VITAs AWS environment (or other cloud environment supported by VITA) utilizing only publicly available non-constituent data provided by DEQ to the vendor. The POC aims to demonstrate the feasibility of an intelligent system to assist in permit evaluation completeness and then for consistency with all DEQ requirements and applicable Federal requirements for internal DEQ permit writers as well as develop initial draft VWPP permits for DEQ permit writers. If successful this POC could be utilized under a separate agreement as a basis for integrating into DEQs permit system progress tracking and use by applicants prior to DEQ submissions.

Documentation & Training Refresh (As Needed)

  • Provide training for new users or updated functionality over the 12-month period.
  • Conduct refresher sessions if new features are added.
