About the Opportunity:
As a Senior Associate you ll play a pivotal role advising tech companies investors and venture capital funds on M&A venture capital and other sophisticated corporate transactions. You ll be part of a collaborative entrepreneurial team that values fresh ideas initiative and client service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support complex M&A venture capital and corporate transactions for technology clients
- Draft review and negotiate key transaction documents (stock purchase merger and investment agreements)
- Advise clients on structuring due diligence and risk assessment
- Collaborate with partners associates and cross-functional teams to drive deal execution
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with founders investors and C-suite executives
- Stay up to date on emerging trends in technology venture capital and corporate law
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5th 8th year associate at a top law firm with significant M&A and venture capital experience
- Deep expertise in technology sector transactions (startups growth companies and/or VC-backed businesses)
- Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility to sit for the bar)
- Exceptional drafting negotiation and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials (top law school and/or class ranking)
- Entrepreneurial mindset collaborative spirit and commitment to client service
