Job Description
Purpose
Develops new and maintain existing source code of applications in programming language like Java or C# based on requirements of internal or external customers. These applications support usually automation of business processes. Works independently or in project team on developing and building midsize and complex application for customer usage. Handles all phases of software development lifecycle by himself especially for midsize applications provides professional support in the field of deep system analysis technical documentation building related infrastructure for developed application by prototyping research. Performs role of lead development architect substitutes the role of project manager in case of small or midsize software projects serves as professional mentor
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead the design development and optimization of backend components for our Foglight Monitoring Application. This role is ideal for a developer with a strong background in Java Groovy scripting and enterprise monitoring systems.
Youll work closely with product and infrastructure teams to extend Foglights capabilities build custom cartridges and ensure scalable high-performance backend services.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Design and develop backend logic and data collection modules for Foglight
- Build and customize Foglight cartridges using Java and Groovy
- Enhance performance monitoring alerting and diagnostic features
- Integrate with databases APIs and infrastructure systems
- Optimize existing code for performance and scalability
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate across DevOps infrastructure and monitoring teams
Qualifications :
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- 5 years of backend development experience in Java
- Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms
- Solid understanding of system architecture and performance tuning
- Proficient with REST APIs SQL and data modeling
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Salary
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 3100 /brutto.
