Job Title: Senior Accountant Construction Salary: $100K-$110K

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
Perform job cost accounting and maintain accuracy of job cost ledgers
Monitor and track project budgets cost-to-complete and work-in-progress (WIP) reports
Support monthly and year-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
Assist with audits tax reporting and external financial reviews
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
Analyze variances and provide insight into project financial performance
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
5 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles job costing and WIP accounting
Experience with accounting systems such as Viewpoint Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) Procore or similar construction software
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
