Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be a part of theAviation team of theUX Sector based inFort Lauderdale West Palm Beach or Miami FL.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Coordinate and oversee daily construction activities ensuring compliance with project plans specifications and safety standards.
- Manage and document inspections of civil architectural structural and MEP systems.
- Monitor contractor performance verifying work quality and adherence to approved drawings and schedules.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and submittals to identify and resolve potential field issues.
- Track and manage RFIs submittals and schedule updates to maintain project progress.
- Provide field oversight and support to project managers ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
- Maintain detailed field logs photo documentation and inspection reports for accurate project records.
- Ensure compliance with operational and security protocols particularly in sensitive or active environments.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams contractors and clients through regular meetings and reports.
- Monitor jobsite logistics safety measures and temporary protections to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Support financial management by verifying installed work for accurate contractor pay applications.
- Contribute to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes to meet industry and project standards.
- Assist in preparing project reports budgets and proposals for new work or project variations.
- Ensure adherence to project governance processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
What your experience looks like
- Bachelors Degree in engineering or construction management preferred
- 5 years of experience in the management of large complex multi-package construction projects.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification Program Management certification preferred.
- Registration as Architect or Engineer is desirable but not required.
