Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead a small high-impact team in delivering people-focused HR operations. The ideal candidate is proactive service-oriented and confident in making thoughtful data-informed decisions. This hybrid role requires in-office presence two days per week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of HR operations including employee relations compliance benefits and policy development across a multi-state organization
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle: onboarding performance management and offboarding
  • Drive HR strategy by setting team KPIs improving cross-functional processes and implementing forward-thinking initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to staff at all levels offering empathetic expert support on HR matters
  • Manage benefits administration including open enrollment leave programs and retirement plans
  • Support employee immigration processes in coordination with legal counsel
  • Promote a values-driven compliant and inclusive workplace culture
  • Conduct regular HR audits to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with federal and state laws
  • Address employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion
  • Oversee HRIS systems reporting and data-driven process improvements
  • Maintain up-to-date legally compliant handbooks and internal HR policies
Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience across core functions
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in HR technologies and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Experience leading or mentoring HR team members
  • Knowledge of immigration and work authorization processes (e.g. H1B E3 TN visas)
  • HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP PHR)
  • Multi-state HR experience
  • Public Notary certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in the technology or staffing sectors
