Job Description
- Model design and simulate state-of-the-art RF for 4G/5G/6G modem wireless communication systems. - Implement system models and perform detailed performance investigations to allow performance sign-off. - Collaborate with RF systems and analog circuit designers to capture designs and develop models.- Develop AI/ML modem solutions and mitigation techniques.
- BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Deep knowledge of signal processing and communication systems
- Strong analytical skills (linear algebra random processes detection and estimation etc.)
- Strong background in AI/ML and familiarity with the tools such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience with Matlab C/C Python for algorithm development.
- Experience with AI/ML applications in wireless communication is strongly desirable.
- Familiarity with RF impairments (phase noise DC offset IQ imbalance inter-modulation etc) their impact on modem performance and RF mitigation techniques.
- Knowledge of RF/analog components (LNA filters mixers ADC/DAC) digital front-end processing automatic gain control.
- Knowledge of cellular communication standards: 5GNR 4G LTE.
- Knowledge of RF systems and design flows with hands-on experience in lab testing & characterization.
