Manufacturing Project Engineer II: This position provides technical leadership to Manufacturing Engineers identifies and defines technical processes required to effectively build electronic hardware provides technical support to Program Managers and assigned team members for programs projects proposals manufacturing test issues and customer support. Position Responsibilities: - Provide technicalexpertisetosupport to Manufacturing Engineers guide critical aspects of manufacturing processes support Program Managers and assigned team members for programs projects proposals manufacturing test issues and customer support for Build-to-Print programs complex production and product design programs and complex design and research development programs
- Support high reliability parts analysis selection up-screening testing etc. for high reliability products and programs.
- Support thedevelopment validation and qualification of manufacturing processes including processes for high reliability applications
- Interpret technical requirements of products Frontier is contracted to develop and build
- Support customer activities as requested
Required Qualifications: - B.S. in Engineering or associated technical field
- More than 10 yearsof experience in the development and manufacture of sophisticated electronic products and systems
- More than 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer I or equivalent position
- Proven success in forming/leading engineering teams focused on the successful manufacture of electronic hardware
- Proven success in defining and executing manufacturing processes
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Work Environment: - Regular office environment
- Expected hours 8:00am - 5:00pm
Essential Physical Functions: - Ability to install equipment
- Occasional lifting (up to 75 pounds)
- Ability to see details at close range
