Job Description
- Experience with SolidWorks Inventor ProE or similar 3D CAD system is required.
- Experience with SAP or similar PLM system is preferred.
- Experience designing capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is preferred (vacuum vessels wafer handling motion mechanisms etc.).
- Knowledge of ion beam and/or vacuum physics is preferred.
- Structural and thermal finite element analysis experience (SolidWorks Simulation ANSYS etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Able to take initiative own full projects and/or lead a small project team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including ability to make technical presentations and interface with all levels of management suppliers and customers.
- Must be hands-on with devices prototyping and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SEMI regulatory standards is a plus.
- Project management experience is plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite is required.
- Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites and supplier facilities as needed.
