US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122500 to $291800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus equity and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

We are looking for a seasoned engineering leader to grow and lead teams that are building and scaling multiple cloud services and building will be providing leadership vision and strategy needed for the delivery of these services.
We are looking for someone who has experience:
- Leading engineering teams that have delivered successful products and services.
- Launching new cloud services and establishing operational excellence.
- Setting the technical direction.
- Building high performing geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Coaching mentoring and developing best talent.
- Establishing and stimulating software development standards and processes along with best practices for the entire org
- Developing strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business objectives with leadership chainteam and customers
Basic Qualifications
- Masters degree in Computer Sciences
- 10 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience in leading enterprise level initiatives.
- Experience in software design and coding in a modern programming language.
- Experience developing distributed systems and understanding of scale reliability and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading teams that have delivered successful products
- Experience with cloud technologies
Responsibilities
As a director of the software engineering division you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing debugging or designing software applications operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture.
