You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Director of Wellness and Health Promotion provides strategic leadership for student-centered wellness initiatives within Boise State Universitys Department of Health Services. This role is responsible for designing implementing and evaluating programs that support holistic student wellbeing and foster a campus environment where students thrive academically socially and personally.
The director manages the Wellness Services budget and leads a dynamic team of professional staff graduate assistants and student employeesprioritizing their professional growth and collaboration with colleagues across Health Services the Division of Student Affairs and other campus and community partners the director helps cultivate an inclusive evidence-based culture of wellness aligned with Boise States mission.
Additionally the director drives student engagement through intentional programming outreach and integrated partnership with the Executive Director of Health Services the director ensures wellness efforts align with university priorities and contribute to student success and the overall health of the campus community.
Spends the majority of time (50% or more) achieving organizational objectives through the coordinated achievements of subordinate staff. Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Establishes departmental goals and objectives functions with autonomy. Manages the accountability and stewardship of human financial and often physical resources in compliance with departmental and campus wide goals and objectives. Ensures subordinate supervisors and professionals adhere to defined internal controls with a focus on policy and strategy implementation. Manages systems and procedures to protect departmental assets and requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes projects and tactics within one area.

Bachelors degree and 5 years experience including 1 year of managerial experience or equivalent.
