Job Description

Job Opportunity: Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Full-TimeSchool Year

At Clarifi Staffing Solutions we re committed to creating equitable and inclusive learning opportunities for all students. We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join one of our partner school districts in Georgia for theacademic year. This is a full-time position serving students across multiple grade levels in a supportive team-based environment.

In this role youll play a key part in helping students who are deaf or hard of hearing thrive academically and socially. You ll provide specialized instruction based on students individualized needs using tools such as American Sign Language (ASL) oral language techniques and assistive technology. Your work will ensure each student can fully access curriculum content and participate meaningfully in their educational experience.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to IEP development implementation and progress monitoring.
  • Adapt curriculum materials and classroom environments to meet accessibility needs.
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families promoting awareness of hearing impairments and inclusive practices.
  • Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to each student s communication style and learning goals.
  • Develop and implement effective instructional strategies using ASL visual supports auditory/oral approaches and technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) highly preferred.
  • Experience working with students with hearing loss in school settings.
  • Valid Georgia teaching certification with an endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
