Your New Role
Your mission is to launch HBO Max in The United Kingdom & Ireland build a strong engaged follower base and drive brand awareness and love. As UK head of social you own the local go-to-market strategy as well as brand and content strategy in the market.
You aim to launch grow and nurture brand presence through quality social presence. You lead the local team towards success through collaboration and creative risk-taking and youre not afraid to challenge the status quo. Your team will work to activate talent content creators strategic partnerships and local trends to drive growth.
Your Role Accountabilities
Specific areas of responsibility for this role include:
Launching the HBO Max social streaming presence in the UK and Ireland.
Leading local social strategy for go-to-market and beyond.
Owning key partnerships in the market across local marketing and comms. Warner Bros and sports.
You aim to drive brand-defining moments that create social buzz high conversation and intent to watch.
You lead with compassion and authenticity.
Youre ambitious for the brand and the team.
As part of the Brand & Content Social Streaming team your areas of responsibility also include:
Owning and driving local Social Media strategy.
Close collaboration with the local team across marketing and comms.
Activating pan-European organic social media campaigns focused on engagement retention non-standard activations and community building.
Working creatively with the content of the service to build awareness drive engagement and conversation on social media.
Staying on top of social media creative trends and ensuring top level social media marketing campaigns locally and on a pan-European level.
Skills and Experience
7 years experience in social media/marketing brand and 4 years experience in people management.
Flexible mindset ready to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
Great understanding of and experience working with fan communities.
Great knowledge and understanding of our brand and content - and its values.
Experience with project and budget management.
A self-sufficient and proactive approach to their work.
