Job Description
He aha te tranga - About the role:
We have an opportunity for a Relief Emergency Medical Assistant to join our team in the Horowhenua covering Foxton Otaki and Levin Stations (base station Levin). This is a permeant position starting in August.
In this role you will:
- Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer
- Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care (under supervision)
- Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
- Complete other relevant administrative tasks.
Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have:
- a minimum of a Hato Hone St John First Responder qualification or ATP of EMT
- a full NZ driving licence and either have held it for at least one year OR have completed an NZTA approved advanced driving course.
