Job Description
Heres What You Need:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
1year of GI clinical or hospital experience preferred
CNA Certified Nurses Aide upon hire preferred or
MA Medical Assistant upon hire preferred or
EMT Emergency Medical Technician upon hire preferred and
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
A high degree of confidentiality positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
What You Will Do:
Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures
Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient
Assists physicians and RNs throughout procedures
Handles instrumentation from basic to complex procedures
Takes actions to reduce or eliminate patient risk
