Position Title: Senior Customer Cybersecurity Advisor
Location: Krakw Poland (preferred) Hybrid Poland
Department: Cybersecurity Customer Cybersecurity Office (CCSO)
Reports To: Customer Cybersecurity Manager
The opportunity:
The Senior Customer Cybersecurity Advisor plays a strategic customer-facing role within the Customer Cybersecurity Office. As a trusted cybersecurity expert you are responsible for supporting customer engagements support regulatory and technical discussions and help customers navigate the complex landscape of modern cyber riskespecially in the context of critical infrastructure and OT/IT environments. You will also drive customer cybersecurity resilience programs and champion Hitachi Energys commitment to cybersecurity excellence.
How youll make an impact:
- Serve as the primary cybersecurity contact for high-profile customers.
- Conduct workshops security reviews and on-site engagements.
- Drive customer cybersecurity resilience programs tailored to industry-specific needs.
- Represent Hitachi Energys cybersecurity posture across customer engagements and industry forums.
- Advise on cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance: ISO/IEC 27001 IEC 62443 NERC-CIP CRA and NIS2.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Legal R&D Product) to align messaging and solutions.
- Lead proactive customer communication during incident preparation and response.
- Support sales and presales teams in addressing security concerns in RFPs audits and due diligence.
- Represent the CCSO at industry events exhibitions and forums.
- Capture and act on customer feedback to continuously improve cybersecurity services.
Your Background:
- University degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience in cybersecurity including customer-facing or consulting roles.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory environments.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP CISM or equivalent) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel regularly (national and international).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in industrial cybersecurity and OT/IT convergence.
- Familiarity with NIS2 CRA
- Participation in cybersecurity communities or working groups
