ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an opportunity for an Accounts ReceivableOfficer to join our Finance Department in the Toowoomba Office. This is a permanent full-time position however part time working hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate.

As an Accounts Receivable Officer with Mort & Co you will be responsible for processing and managing tasks for the group including:

  • Managing accounts receivable and collections
  • Processing and reconciling customer invoices and payments
  • Monitoring customer accounts including credit limits and stop supply
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Weekly Debtor Reporting reconciliation and review
  • Assisting with end of month close out
  • Providing assistance to Accounts Payable and Reception teams and performing general administrative tasks as required
  • Adhoc duties as required

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this position you have prior experience working in accounts receivable in a corporate setting or a thorough knowledge of an experience in applying general accounts receivable practices legislation and procedures. You will also bring

  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft suite and the ability to learn and effectively operate accounts receivable systems.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High levels of accuracy with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team that supports one another
  • You have a high level of accuracy
