Job Description
In the Firmware Verification role you will work with a strong team of component validation firmware developers and system engineers to build firmware verification infrastructure test cases and validate end-to-end physical layer performance. You will design and develop frameworks to verify 4G/5G firmware and work with Systems/Firmware teams to perform validation of new and existing features. You will assist in the development of pre-silicon emulation systems/virtual platforms and use them for firmware design and HW verification. You will verify key protocol signal processing and numerical algorithms with very tight time latency and energy budgets.
- BS with 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Expert-level programming abilities in C C and Python.
- Deep understanding of computer architecture software engineering principles and core computer science fundamentals.
- Strong analysis and debugging capabilities to be able to root cause issues and work on solutions with firmware development.
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science.
- Coursework or exposure in basic digital communications and digital signal processing.
- Good knowledge of 5G and 4G 3GPP physical layer and protocol stack procedures and configurations.
- Experience with silicon prototyping emulation systems and virtual platforms.
