Job Description
Position Description:
CGI is looking for a Technical Lead with Guidewire experience to join a project team at one of our clients in the insurance sector.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of Guidewire software solutions including analysis design development implementation and support of applications to ensure their alignment with IT strategies and compliance with company standards;
Define and apply best practices in development and architecture;
Mentor team members on technical and methodological aspects;
Collaborate with product business and infrastructure teams to successfully complete the project;
Optimize the performance and reliability of systems through continuous improvement of processes and applications;
Play a strategic role by ensuring that the solution is aligned with business needs and technological standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum of 10 years of IT experience including 6 years in a similar role;
Solid experience with Guidewire Cloud products particularly PolicyCenter ClaimsCenter and/or BillingCenter;
Skilled in programming languages Gosu Java and AWS languages;
Important asset: Possess the GW ACE (Mammoth) certification;
Excellent understanding of software architectures and API integrations.
