Job Description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

This position resides within the Endoscopy Business Unit which focuses on cutting-edge electromechanical systems and equipment for minimally invasive this fast-paced and highly regulated environment youll directly contribute to life-changing medical technology. We are seeking an Engineer with a strong foundation in electromechanical system design and testing. Ideal candidates will have experience in the medical devices automotive or similarly regulated industries.

What you will do:

Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Develop and execute solutions to a range of technical challenges of moderate complexity.
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams including R&D Advanced Operations and Quality.

Design & Development

  • Design and implement electromechanical test systems for current and next-generation products.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and iterate on early product concepts.
  • Support equipment and process development for new product introductions (NPIs) and technology transfers.

Manufacturing Support

  • Lead or contribute to DFM/T PFMEA control plans and PPAP documentation.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis gauge R&R studies and statistical analyses (DOE Cp/Cpk).
  • Perform MSA studies and introduce new manufacturing technologies to improve process capability.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on new equipment and processes.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all work complies with Strykers Quality System applicable regulations and the Stryker Code of Conduct.
  • Prepare and maintain thorough engineering documentation in support of design development and manufacturing activities.

What you need:

  • Bachelors in Engineering
  • 0 years of experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with schematics test equipment and electromechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with process mapping and validation tools preferred.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
