Job Description
The school nurse is responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of all students at CCHS. The school nurse is responsible for managing all state requirements around health screenings and collecting student health information. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with students parents colleagues and community members. The candidate will work in a busy school health office intervening when a medical episode occurs and monitoring medications and health conditions. A bachelors degree a Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education and a Massachusetts license as a registered nurse are required. A Masters Degree is : 10:45 am - 2:00 pmSalary: Appropriate step and lane on the salary scaleJob Requirements:Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.A valid current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse in by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a School Nurse2 years of school pediatric public health or other relevant nursing experienceCurrent certification in cardiopulmonary CPR/AED from a recognized residency or work visa
