Job Description
- Work closely with in-region CM/Factory counterparts and internal teams in planning/executing on product development and validation activities.- Travel to in-region CM/Factory locations to debug the issue and bring up the test setups.- Understanding device to device variation by characterizing radiated and conducted KPIs and performing marginality analysis.- Validating RF Exposure test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups. - Translating WW regulatory requirements into test cases. Coordinating with regulatory compliance teams to ensure product validation covers all certification tests. - Define/execute validation plan for RF Exposure facing SW features.- Debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams like RFHW /Antenna/ Product Design/EE/etc. and drive design changes to address issues. - Maintain test setups via periodic checks calibration etc. - Help Regulatory Compliance teams in planning/executing on final certification testing at 3rd party test labs.
- BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working Experience with different wireless communication systems such as GSM/UMTS/LTE 802.11xx Bluetooth etc. including the corresponding system level specifications (e.g. ETSI 51.010 51.05) is important.
- Working Experience with regulatory requirements and certification process for wireless consumer devices including FCC PTCRB CTIA ETSI 3GPP etc.
- Excellent communication skills required both written & verbal.
- MS degree in technical discipline with 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Working experience of antenna design and tests in particular hands-on experience for compliance measurements is desirable.
- Experience with 5GmmWave standard and/or hands-on chamber/system level understanding is a plus.
- Experience with Antenna/EM simulation tools is a plus.
