Our Patient Centered Solutions - Implementation (PCS-I) team addresses critical industry gaps in electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) implementation to encourage widespread adoption and success. Our eCOA subject matter experts partner with Sponsors and eCOA vendors to implement proactive science-based eCOA strategies to ensure success in collection of COA endpoints in clinical trials and improved patient experience.

The PCS-I team works closely with a diverse group of colleagues with scientific behavioral and technology expertise to drive innovation in the areas of study retention endpoint compliance and patient experience to advance the strategic priorities of life science companies.

What will you do

As an Associate Consultant youll be actively participating in end-to-end implementation of electronic COAs in clinical trials adhering to protocol-specific science-backed best practices to improve compliance and data quality. Typically you will have the opportunity to support a variety of projects with a balance of research and implementation. Your role will include:

  • Working with a team of subject matter experts to create high impact reports and deliverables including User Acceptance Testing end-user training and monitoring of patient experience data with help from experienced team leaders

  • Participation in projects or IQVIA initiatives to assist in the generation of insights and the development of reports for clients or executive leadership

  • Assisting with business development and proposals

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven analytical interpretative and problem-solving skills

  • Proven interest in patient-centered-related research and topics (e.g. Clinical Outcome Assessment Patient-Reported Outcome electronic implementation a plus)

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and an ability to build credibility with external and internal contacts

  • Good commercial awareness/business judgement and an interest in the healthcare / life sciences industry

  • Strong IT literacy e.g. Word PowerPoint Excel

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within timeline

  • The desire to learn and commitment to a rapid development curve

  • Comfort/familiarity working in cross-cultural contexts

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • An academic degree in a relevant field of studies (public health psychology health economics healthcare technology engineering or similar).

  • At least 2 years of experience in consulting / research within the pharmaceutical healthcare and/or related industry or a PhD in relevant field (see above)

  • Experience within pharma R&D RWE/D and/or patient digital technology

  • Passion to partner with patients and clinical sites throughout the drug development process to improve experience data and outcomes

  • Demonstrable analytical interpretative and problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly adapt and apply new knowledge

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations workshop facilitation business and report writing

  • Strong capability in juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes

  • Avid interest in healthcare and life sciences industries adaptability and ability to learn quickly within a fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility in working hours to support a global team and interface with clients world-wide
