Job Summary:
Micron is seeking a highly motivated RDA/ Metrology Technician that is responsible for ensuring the safe efficient and high-quality operation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role involves conducting safety audits troubleshooting process issues supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining documentation and training standards. Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety audits walkthroughs and support environmental sustainability guidelines.
- Finishes the required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with safety policies
- Monitor and manage queue time alerts and lot ordering.
- Resolve yield quality defect and equipment-related issues.
- Apply SPC FDC and 8D methodologies to diagnose and resolve process issues.
- Analyze data to make critical process decisions.
- Perform project work to optimize wafer processing.
- Support area operations to meet throughput and efficiency goals.
- Monitor bottlenecks and ensure efficient workstation performance.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) actions.
- Identify and resolve training gaps and procedural inefficiencies.
- Ensure quality of task updates and shift pass downs.
- Update/create procedures training references and maintain assessor checklists and documentation.
- Communicate effectivelyin both written and verbal forms to ensure clear and concise information exchange.
- Manage time and prioritize tasksefficiently to meet deadlines and organizational goals.
- Follow basic proceduresand work independently with minimal supervision to maintain productivity and quality standards.

- Apply skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word PowerPoint OneNote Excel) to efficiently complete tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment automation systems or technical military experience.
- 2 years of experience using mechanical electronic and software skills to troubleshoot equipment.
- 1 year of experience using SPC software (e.g. Minitab JMP Linework Space).
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off) progress between day and night shifts every 4 months and adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations.
Preferred Requirements:
- AAS degree in a STEM field (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) or 2 years of relevant experience.
- 4 years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment automation systems or technical military experience.
- 4 years of experience using mechanical electronic and software skills to troubleshoot equipment.
- 2 years of experience using SPC software (e.g. Minitab JMP Linework Space).
