Position Overview
The Law Firm Administrator is responsible for driving the firms long-term growth while overseeing its daily administrative functions. This includes strategic planning human resources benefits administration budgeting marketing technology infrastructure and overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage the firms administrative operations and long-term strategic planning.
- Supervise administrative teams and foster a success-driven accountable culture.
- Collaborate with attorneys and practice groups to support business development and operational alignment.
Human Resources
- Oversee all hiring onboarding and training for staff attorneys and clerks.
- Administer HR policies employee relations performance management and compliance.
- Lead engagement associate reviews and mentorship initiatives.
- Coordinate the summer associate program and participate in DEI efforts.
Benefits & Compensation
- Manage health dental vision life insurance and retirement benefits.
- Oversee open enrollment benefits audits and vendor management.
- Support 401(k) plan administration and compliance.
Operations & Finance
- Oversee daily firm operations and facilities to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Governance & Communication
- Organize and participate in Management Committee and Board meetings.
- Maintain meeting agendas accurate records and internal communications.

- Approve and encourage continuing education for administrative staff.
- Participate in relevant industry seminars and legal management conferences.
Qualifications
- 7 years of leadership experience in law firm administration or professional services operations.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance benefits management legal/business operations and budgeting.
- Exceptional leadership communication and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems legal practice management tools and financial platforms.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity equity inclusion and team development.
