Job Summary
Student Representatives provide administrative support to the Office of Advancement & University Relations staff. Our offices are located in Waldschmidt Hall; we are a complex team of 20 staff members who raise funds for the University. Administrative skills ability to prioritize and work with deadlines strong editing and computer skills are all needed to be successful in this position. Student Representative will also need the flexibility to assist with several University events each year. Minimum 6 8 hours per work week of availability is requested; priority for helping to staff evening or weekend work events. This job could continue through the summer if student has easy access to campus.
Minimum Qualifications
Essential Job Functions: Desire to work in an office setting and learn new skills Some experience in Microsoft Word or Excel Attention to detail Strong writing and editing skills (Note: may be asked to complete small editing project if called to an interview) Works well within a team environment and clearly communicates work/project progress to tag-team with other student employees Ability to work in a self-directed environment Outgoing personality and comfort interacting with high level donors and UP staff members

Preferred but not required: Willingness to be Green Dot trained; suggested training would be provided
