Conduct inspection of piping installation welding and fabrication activities as per approved drawings project specifications and quality standards.
Verify material certificates welding consumables and ensure traceability for all piping components.
Monitor and inspect weld joints fit-up alignment and dimensional accuracy before and after welding.
Review and approve WPS PQR and welder qualifications in compliance with ASME/ANSI codes.
Conduct hydro-testing pneumatic testing and leak testing of piping systems in accordance with ITPs and project standards.
Ensure adherence to QA/QC plans ITPs and method statements for all piping works.
Coordinate with production engineering and client representatives for inspection and approval of completed works.
Prepare inspection reports NCRs and maintain proper quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with international codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 API and project-specific requirements.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
Diploma / Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of QA/QC inspection experience in piping projects (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Construction preferred).
Certification in CSWIP 3.1 AWS-CWI or equivalent (preferred).
Knowledge of ASME API ANSI and relevant piping codes.
Familiarity with NDT techniques and interpretation of results.
Strong knowledge of welding procedures materials and fabrication techniques.
Proficiency in reviewing isometric drawings P&IDs and piping layouts.
Good understanding of hydro-testing and pressure testing procedures.
Excellent documentation reporting and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
