Due to growth and a strong backlog of work across the Contamination Assessment and Remediation (CAR) team in Brisbane we are seeking applications from contaminated landprofessionals early in their career (i.e. between 1 - 3 years) experience who are looking for a supportive work environment as part of a large team of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience to learn from and help take your career to the next level.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Exciting projects and clients across government and private industry sectors both small and large in scale.
  • Involvement across all project stagesfrom client attraction/tender submissions through to project completion.
  • A high level of engagement and support internally with our project delivery and technical specialists at local national and international level as well as external to the business.
  • Excellent career growth pathways via a combination of technical buddies tailored training programs and GHDs unique Career Pathways program.
  • Technical development through our team-based technical mentoring scheme.
  • Career pathway development through our formal mentoring program.

What would you bring to the team

  • A bachelors degree in engineering or science.
  • 1 - 3 years experience in contaminated land.
  • Strong technical skills and experience in fieldwork related to contaminated land assessment and remediation.
  • Willingness to undertake some FIFO work as required.
  • Experience managing or supporting small to mid-sized projects.
  • A passion for operating in a fast-paced environment with a solutions-focused can-do attitude.
  • A strong team ethic a proven commitment to the brand your team and yourself.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of situations and a willingness to help your mates.
