Job Description
- Design and simulate state-of-the-art physical layer wireless communication algorithms with emphasis on MIMO systems.- Work closely with hardware firmware RF and other cross-functional teams to implement verify and bring-up MIMO algorithms.- Ensure that performance meets expectations. - Work on next-generation algorithms and implementation per roadmap.
- In-depth knowledge of wireless communication systems with emphasis on MIMO technology (5G LTE).
- Ability to develop algorithms assess performance develop complexity-performance tradeoffs and work closely with firmware teams on implementation.
- Design and simulate state-of-the-art physical layer wireless communication algorithms with emphasis on MIMO systems.
- Implement system models and perform detailed performance investigations to allow performance sign-off and enable RTL development.
- Designing baseband algorithms for cellular modems with emphasis on advanced demodulation and channel coding methods
- Conducting simulations in C/C/MATLAB and optimizing algorithms for mobile devices and ensure that performance meets expectations.
- BS and 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Collaborate with hardware digital designers and firmware developers to realize algorithms with power and area-efficient implementation.
- Work closely with hardware firmware RF and other cross-functional teams to implement verify and bring-up MIMO algorithms. Supporting commercialization and collaborating with other SW/HW engineers.
- Familiarity with bring up process and methodology.
- Experience with power/performance optimization.
- Work on next generation algorithms and implementation per roadmap.
- MSc or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering Computer Science plus 5 years of experience is preferred.
