Job Description
- Validating RF Exposure test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups. - Translating WW regulatory requirements into test cases. Coordinating with regulatory compliance teams to ensure product validation covers all certification tests. - Define/execute validation plan for RF Exposure facing SW features.- Debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams like RFHW /Antenna/ Product Design/EE/etc. and drive design changes to address issues. - Maintain test setups via periodic checks calibration etc. - Help Regulatory Compliance teams in planning/executing on final certification testing at 3rd party test labs.
- BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working Experience with different wireless communication systems such as GSM/UMTS/LTE 802.11xx Bluetooth etc. including the corresponding system level specifications (e.g. ETSI 51.010 51.05) is important.
- Working Experience with regulatory requirements and certification process for wireless consumer devices including FCC PTCRB CTIA ETSI 3GPP etc.
- Excellent communication skills required both written & verbal.
- MS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working experience of antenna design and tests in particular hands-on experience for compliance measurements is desirable.
- Experience with 5GmmWave standard and/or hands-on chamber/system level understanding is a plus.
- Experience with Antenna/EM simulation tools is a plus.
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181100 and $318400 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
