Guiding Principles
As an initiative of ODJFS Director Matt Damschroder the Office of Transformation partners with programs and employees throughout the agency to enhance internal and external customers experiences enriches employees experiences through participation in transformation initiatives and promotes an environment for everyone at ODJFS to get better at what we do every day. Transformation initiatives are agency-wide or program specific team-based and cross-functional to include staff across program offices and at all levels. The Deputy Transformation Officer assists the Chief Transformation Officer with creating leading promoting and measuring improvement initiatives that support ODJFS Guiding Principles. Transformation initiatives make it easier for customers to interact with us and create opportunities to make ODJFS a place where employees want to work and grown their careers.
Our customers are those who need our services conduct business with us partner with us to serve our shared customers fund our services and agency care about what we do and ODJFS colleagues who are internal customers.
What Youll Do
The final selected candidate for this position will be challenged to lead think creatively and proactively and identify opportunities to engage employees in the agencys initiatives to support the Guiding Principles. You will be challenged to find ways to work across programs to bring areas together to collaborate and support each other. You will be challenged to use your expertise to convince others about new ways of looking at issues and operating better by doing it differently.
*This position is unclassified per ORC 124.11 (A)(9) and is deemed overtime exempt.
Schedule:Full-time.
Hours:Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Travel:Occasional travel within the state of Ohio.

Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohios E1 Pay Schedule Pay Range 16. Unless required by legislation or union contract starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1 currently $47.50 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
