We are looking for a manager who can be both an effective manager and an effective technical lead. You will manage a mid-sized team of varying experiences as well as help design and building architectural platforms that hold up over time. You will work with Design and other engineering partners and recommend behavioral policies based on hardware and software capabilities and limitations. You will manage projects mentor engineers and work closely with your peers and leaders to build the future of Apples audio and media roadmap.
BS/MS in Computer science Computer engineering Electrical engineering with System programming focus or equivalent
Experience in and a deep understanding of audio stacks and audio pipelines
4-5 years of managing mid-sized teams in fast-paced environments
Understanding of the audio stack of embedded systems
Great understanding of intuitive user experiences
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198300 and $342800 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
