Software Engineer Optimize Platform

What Youll Do
Build a Platform That Powers Real Impact
Ship features using React React Native and Express that drive energy-saving strategies across thousands of buildings
Develop internal and client-facing tools from mobile field adjustments to enterprise-level dashboards
Work across our full stack: PostgreSQL ElasticSearch Redis AWS Terraform and GitHub Actions
Contribute to sustainable and scalable systems with a focus on performance usability and reliability
Accelerate Through Meaningful Growth
Spend your first 23 months immersing yourself in our platform energy conservation methodology and business context
Progress from fixing bugs to leading feature development as you build domain expertise
See your work deployed and used within weeksenabling direct energy savings and impact
Technical Environment: React React Native Express Prisma PostgreSQL ElasticSearch Redis AWS Terraform GitHub Actions AI-assisted development tools with a focus on sustainability
What You Bring
Technical Foundation (14 Years Experience):
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the React ecosystem
Working knowledge of backend systems API design and full-stack development
Understanding of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferredor a strong desire to learn)
Strong Git practices and a commitment to clean maintainable code
Problem-Solving Mindset:
Analytical and curious with an eye for both details and the big picture
Fast learner with a drive to understand business and technical systems
Communicates clearly and proactively about work roadblocks and decisions
Passion for solving real problems with sustainable technology
