Job Description
As a member of the team youll have the opportunity to work with a small team of highly skilled engineers to bring new Generative-AI enabled experiences to Apple products. You will work with experienced engineers designers and machine learning experts to qualify and refine features that delight users as well as form a solid technical foundation for future this position you will need to be self-directed creative and comfortable with change and ambiguity. Strong technical and interpersonal skills are all essential. Responsibilities include: Functional testing of experience features on iOS platform sometimes across concurrent release vectors Creative manual testing Design and implementation of test plans and test cases Risk analysis cross-functional testing coordination and integration testing across the system Maintain a qualitative high level understanding of area of responsibility Investigation and debugging on Unix based systems to triage difficult problems and work towards resolution
- 3 years of experience working in Software Quality Assurance
- An enthusiasm for user-focused design and shipping high-quality technology
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven experience creating test plans for new products and features
- Passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multi-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams management and other organizations within Apple
- Curiosity about new technologies flexibility and openness to ambiguity
- Proficiency with iOS macOS watchOS tvOS or similar operating systems
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- While the following skills arent required knowledge of one or more of these areas would be valuable:
- Familiarity with AI principles and Foundation Models
- Track record of working cross-functionally and building strong partnerships amongst teams and individuals
