Passavant Memorial Homes is currently seeking a Consumer Accounts Specialist working in-person at our Harmar PA office Consumer Accounts Specialist is a full-time position under the direct supervision of the Assistant Chief Financial Officer. This position is responsible for client account activities related to client procedures and purchasing functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSUMER ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST:

  • Proficient use of spreadsheet and word processing functions.
  • Management of individuals financial information including reconciliation of client statements.
  • Communicate financial information to various personnel and monitor account activity.
  • Monitor financial data against applicable regulations and resource limits.
  • Complete compliance documentation for Social Security and County Based Services.
  • Works closely from time-to-time with Program Staff.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONSUMER ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Valid state drivers license required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent certificate programin Accounting or related field.
  • Experience in an office setting.
  • Must possess basic accountingknowledge and demonstrate proficiency with computer-based accounting methods.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and maintain professional communications with outside agencies.
