One challenge for public infrastructures operations is that without precise and continuously updated spatial data underground networks risk mismanagement safety issues and inefficient asset maintenance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The scope of our mission is to reinforce a team as a right-hand Project Associate to ensure the accurate updating monitoring and integration of geospatial and technical data supporting infrastructure integrity and operational safety.
The key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:
Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution ensuring accuracy and meeting expectations:
- Update the as-built data of pipelines for new constructions and adaptation works ensuring quality and respect for the planned schedule.
- Update the topography ground level and the assets (beacons accessories etc.).
- Draft diagrams site implantation plans maps at scale 1/10000 and detailed plans.
- Maintain training material instructions and procedures (documentation / knowledge transfer).
- In collaboration with the team of Asset Data Experts help improve ICT applications and processes.
Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs quality and timelines:
- Verify the xyz position of the pipelines; prepare dossiers for field measurements; interpret results and update the database.
- Follow / monitor projects within the Data Management service.
Support projects by facilitating communication and reporting between stakeholders:
- Act as the contact person for some regional branches regarding the updating of the as-built data.
The experience we are actively looking for:
- Master degree in land surveying (preferred) geography or geology.
- Preferably a first professional experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of field measurement techniques is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) relational databases and GTechnology is a plus.
- Fluent in one national language with a good knowledge of the other.
- Accurate analytical and synthetic mindset.
- Capable of working autonomously while maintaining team collaboration.
- Eager to learn and proactive.
- Client-oriented and good communicator.
- An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Presence in Belgium is preferred with valid Single permit for non-EU citizens.
