In this role you will report to the Onsite Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantors Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.
Location: Spring House PA
Shift: 7:00 M - 3:30 PM (MondayFriday)
Hourly Rate: $20.50

What were looking for
Education: HS Diploma or GED Equivalent required; associates degree preferred
Experience: 12 years required experience in a customer facing & laboratory environment
Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred
Training and Certifications: Spill containment IATA DOT IMDG and OSHA Right to Know certifications are highly desirable.
GMP Experience: Prior experience working in aGMP-regulated facilityis a strong plus.
Customer Focus: Must demonstrate strongcustomer service skillsand the ability to effectively engage with personnel at all levels within the customer site.
Organizational Skills: Excellentorganizational and multitasking abilitiesare essential with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work bothindependentlyand collaboratively as part of a team.
How you will thrive and create an impact
Avantors Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma pharmaceutical educational industrial and high-tech industries with customizable flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.
In this role you will:
Complete routine laboratory procedures such as but not limited to preparation of solvents buffers resins reagent solutions media prep mixing of chemicals etc.
Report timely and accurate test results according to laboratory policies and procedures.
Maintenance lab equipment and troubleshooting.
Store chemicals properly disposes of chemical waste adheres to safety procedures and participates in safety programs.
Manage inventory maintains processes and orders laboratory supplies including glassware and chemicals for biotech/pharmaceutical processes.
Maintain records utilizing electronic laboratory notebooks (eLNs).
Maintain files tracks orders and processes shipping requests.
Track and documents chemical usage and inventory.
Glass wash and restocking chemical repacking cylinder delivery and pickup managing dry ice and liquid nitrogen dispensing and waste disposal.
Maintain clean room to prevent contamination and consistently maintain integrity of production.
Calibrate balances and pH meters.
Clean and prepare dissolution baths and sonicators.
Inspect laboratory safety stations.
Other duties as assigned.
