Senior FP&A Analyst

About this role

As a Senior FP&A analyst you will get tons of freedom the opportunity to put your own stamp on things as well as exposure to lots of senior stakeholders in the business.

You will own the relationship modelling and budgeting for some of the most important parts of our UK business in order to drive financially sound decision making across the business.

Its a really varied role where you will be the owner of our UK revenue forecasting model own relationships with senior stakeholders as well as helping with leading and developing the wider UK FP&A team. There will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in strategic initiatives that impact the entire Business as well as supporting project work with exposure to the UK CFO and wider Leadership team.

We expect you to be a voice of Finance within the business and provide effective support problem solving and analytical insight as well as expertise in your area.

What youll do

  • Be at the forefront of problem solving / strategic developments within our P&L balancing both the short and long term views

  • Take on the model expert role for UK Revenue working closely with US partners to optimise our python based forecasting model

  • Partner with key stakeholders in the business to produce the annual budget and updated forecasts aligned to latest strategic intent and performance ensuring that any risks or opportunities are effectively communicated and understood

  • Work in partnership with senior stakeholders to drive sustainable efficiencies for the business and ensure any investment is optimised

  • Identify and take ownership for developing process improvements

  • Ensure all month end activity is completed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Develop the next generation of finance talent within the finance department

What were looking for

  • A strong analytical mindset with significant experience in a similarly technical and relevant role as well as a strong understanding of the key P&L drivers of a business in this industry

  • Youll need strong Business Partnering skills in particular the ability to quickly build relationships and interact effectively with senior stakeholders

  • The skills to confidently and accurately talk about performance trends forecasting models and their underlying components and technical assumptions

  • Ability to problem solve in grey space through a data driven approach

  • Strong collaboration communication and influencing skills

Prior experience using SQL Python Onestream or similar systems and tools are a plus

This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office.
