We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Engineer to join our DataLake Team of Data Management

The Data Management Tribe is focused on being Data Best-in-class by ensuring the right data is in the right place at the right time for the right people to ignite the Data Spark.

In order to achieve that mission we are currently looking for a Data Engineer that would be part of an international project collaborative between different countries developing in a Cloud & DevOps environment.

You would be focused on maintaining and evolving our informational platforms which aims to be used for Data Management as well as Regulatory & Analytical Reporting at ING.

We work in an Agile & DevOps environment where Scrum & Kanban are part of our One Agile Way of Working. You would be part of a Scrum Team working on two-weeks sprints and using Azure as a key-tool for our Software Development Life Cycle and keeping our IT Risk under control.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer you will:

• Ensure best practices within technical design development of ETL processes and modelling informational solutions.
• Monitor end-to-end processes ensuring their operation detection of technical issues and search for solutions based on Data.
• Care of platforms sustainability within Minimum Standards from IT and Risk perspective.
• Guarantee that ETL delivered and promoted through Azure pipelines and modelling informational solutions are aligned with our best practices.
• Analysis of business needs for implementation and propose IT solutions
• Collaborate with different areas contributing to Spain ING Data Strategy

The Data Engineer we are currently looking for is someone who:

• Has technical knowledge in Databases (SQL and NO SQL) ETL Processes & BI Reporting.
• Is an expert in Data Modelling & Data Architecture for Informational platforms.
• Has good analytical skills with proven domain experience in data warehousing data lakes and data virtualization within Bank and Finance Industry.
• Has working experience in Agile environments.
• Has clear communications skills as well as a high English level (written and oral).
• Is able to work without instructions and to take initiative.
• Makes things happen thanks to his/her can do attitude.
• Has a problem solving mindset.
• Is a team player (daily connection with other departments is expected)
• Has the ability to work on an international level.
• Takes the initiative for improving processes ensuring creative ideas are implemented.
• Is a leader of our Orange Code culture displaying a positive attitude commitment towards our goals accountable eager to learn and is not afraid of change.

Considering the software you may use as a Data Software Engineer specific experience would be desirable for the following:

• Experience within Data Lake and Big Data environments
• BigQuery
• Oracle (19c)
• Data virtualization or denodo tool
• IBM DataStage & IBM IGC
• IBM Cognos Power BI and/or MicroStrategy or similar BI tools
• Azure Devops or other devops cloud service
• Has knowledge & experience in cloud environments.
• Security monitoring and logging skills (e.g. ELK Prometheus Grafana)
• Ability to create automation tools (e.g. Python/Go DBT)
• Has knowledge of Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS)

En ING buscamos incorporar a una persona Data Engineer

Tu rol y entorno de trabajo:

Buscamos una persona con talento y entusiasmo para unirse al equipo de DataLake dentro del rea de Data Management.

El equipo de Data Management tiene como objetivo ser referente en el uso de datos asegurando que la informacin adecuada est en el lugar correcto en el momento oportuno y accesible para las personas adecuadas con el fin de impulsar el valor del dato.

Para cumplir esta misin buscamos una persona Data Engineer que se incorpore a un proyecto internacional colaborativo entre distintos pases desarrollado en un entorno Cloud y DevOps.

La persona que se incorpore se centrar en mantener y evolucionar nuestras plataformas informacionales utilizadas para la gestin de datos as como para el reporting regulatorio y analtico en ING.

Trabajamos en un entorno gil y DevOps donde Scrum y Kanban forman parte de nuestro modelo One Agile Way of Working. Formars parte de un equipo Scrum trabajando en sprints de dos semanas y utilizando Azure como herramienta clave en nuestro ciclo de desarrollo de software manteniendo bajo control el riesgo tecnolgico.

Principales responsabilidades:

Como Data Engineer tus funciones incluirn:

• Aplicar buenas prcticas en el diseo tcnico desarrollo de procesos ETL y modelado de soluciones informacionales.
• Monitorizar procesos de extremo a extremo asegurando su correcto funcionamiento detectando incidencias tcnicas y proponiendo soluciones basadas en datos.
• Velar por la sostenibilidad de las plataformas cumpliendo con los estndares mnimos desde la perspectiva de IT y Riesgos.
• Garantizar que los procesos ETL desarrollados y promovidos mediante pipelines en Azure as como las soluciones de modelado informacional estn alineados con nuestras mejores prcticas.
• Analizar necesidades de negocio para su implementacin y proponer soluciones tecnolgicas.
• Colaborar con distintas reas contribuyendo a la estrategia de datos de ING Espaa.

Experiencia tcnica deseable:
